The reunion belongs in the group chat. So does the parking plan. Morgan State Homecoming runs October 4–11, 2026, with the Bears hosting Robert Morris at noon on Saturday, October 10.
Before everyone picks a meeting spot, check the parts of the weekend that can change the whole day: where you can leave a car, how to get into the game and when campus activities finish. This guide brings those decisions together without treating an old hotel offer or an inconsistent parade listing as a settled fact.

The week, at a glance
The university's homecoming hub covers October 4–11. The Foundation's fundraising calendar begins October 5; use the university calendar for the full week. These are selected public listings, not a complete itinerary:
| Date | What is listed |
|---|---|
| Sunday, Oct. 4 | Homecoming worship, 2 p.m., University Memorial Chapel. |
| Monday, Oct. 5 | Coronation, 7 p.m., Murphy Fine Arts Center. |
| Wednesday, Oct. 7 | Walking campus tours, 2–3 p.m.; homecoming concert, 8 p.m., Hill Field House. |
| Thursday, Oct. 8 | Guided golf-cart tours, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; Foundation kickoff, 6:30–10:30 p.m., Inn at the Colonnade. |
| Friday, Oct. 9 | Alumni open houses, 1–3 p.m.; marketplace, 1–5 p.m.; volleyball, 6 p.m.; Homecoming Gala, 8 p.m.–midnight. |
| Saturday, Oct. 10 | Tailgating from 7 a.m.; morning parade; Robert Morris football game at noon. |
| Sunday, Oct. 11 | Memorial service, 11 a.m.–1 p.m., University Student Center Theater. |
Check each listing in the official event calendar for eligibility, reservations and separate admission. One football ticket does not establish admission to the rest of the week's activities.
Game tickets and stadium entry
The official ticket listing confirms October 10 at noon at Hughes Stadium in Baltimore and specifies mobile delivery. Buy through the university-linked listing, review the final total and have the ticket ready on your phone before approaching entry.
Morgan's general information page lists $40 general admission and $55 reserved seating, with separate eligibility-based discounts. Current students are listed as admitted free with a valid Bear ID; children five and younger are also listed as free. Availability and checkout fees must be confirmed when ordering. Stadium gates are listed to open at 11:30 a.m.
The published bag guidance permits specified clear bags, gallon-size clear zip bags and small clutches; backpacks, fanny packs and tinted bags are among the prohibited items. The page does not provide a complete numerical size limit in its clear-bag sentence. Confirm your particular bag instead of borrowing dimensions from another stadium. Outside food and drinks are prohibited, and the page says there is no re-entry.

Where to park—and where not to
The official parking page says lots open at 7 a.m. on Saturday. Northwood Commons is off limits for homecoming parking. Lot QN is reserved for police staging.
| Published option | Listed price / limitation |
|---|---|
| North Campus Garage and selected B, C, D, E and ER lots | $5 |
| Commons Garage | $15 |
| Lots L and M near the stadium | $15; very limited disability parking |
| Selected two-space tailgate allocations | $100; consult the official registration instructions |
These are published categories, not a guarantee of remaining spaces. Follow the registration link on the parking page, enter the correct license plate and follow its permit instructions. Personal RV and bus parking is not provided.
BEARtransit is listed for 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday between designated parking/tailgate areas, the stadium and Student Center. Do not assume that service includes your hotel. Share your actual lot and meeting point with your group before arrival.
Two timing details to settle before Saturday
The parade has conflicting official start times
The homecoming homepage says 8:30 a.m., while the calendar listing begins at 9 a.m. The parade information page itself contains both times. We cannot honestly resolve that discrepancy for the organizers.
The published route starts around Alameda and Chinquapin, continues south on Alameda, east on Cold Spring Lane and south on Hillen toward campus. Spectators should confirm the final start time and road-access instructions close to the event. Parade participants should use their own organizer-issued check-in instructions.
Campus does not stay open indefinitely
The university hub says buildings close at 3 p.m. Saturday, homecoming events end at 5 p.m. and campus closes at 6 p.m. Set your departure and reunion plans around those cutoffs. A noon kickoff is a reason to organize the morning carefully, not to assume an evening campus tailgate.
Hotels, transportation and accessible arrival
The Foundation's hotel information lists Live! Hotel & Spa, the Inn at the Colonnade Baltimore, Sheraton Baltimore North and Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. Its advertised room blocks closed September 8. Those names remain useful starting points, but the old block offer is not evidence of current discounts or vacancies.
Choose lodging around your actual itinerary. A campus-focused visit and a Friday gala visit involve different destinations: the official gala page places that event at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, with the main program from 8 p.m. to midnight on October 9 and a separate VIP reception beforehand. Confirm each event's admission requirements directly.
For public transit, Maryland MTA lists CityLink SILVER serving the Hopkins/Morgan State corridor. Use the agency's planner and service alerts for your specific Saturday trip. Do not build a return journey around a weekday timetable. For rideshare, agree on a pickup plan that respects any event-day road closures; no special official pickup zone was verified for this guide.
Accessible parking is limited, so confirm seating, drop-off access and the route from your parking space before buying or arriving. Start with the homecoming contact, MSUStudentCenter@morgan.edu. Morgan's Student Disability Support Services page also provides campus accessibility resources and its own service contacts; it is not a substitute for event-specific ticket or seating confirmation.
Questions the group chat will ask
Is the game on October 3 or October 10?
Morgan's 2026 homecoming game is Saturday, October 10, against Robert Morris, at noon Eastern. Do not confuse it with another university's homecoming.
Can we park at the shopping plaza and walk over?
Not for homecoming at Northwood Commons. Use the university's event parking instructions.
Is there one pass for the entire week?
No all-events pass was verified. Check the individual program pages, particularly the football game, concert and Foundation events.
Can we count on the discounted hotel block?
No. The posted deadline has passed. Confirm current availability, price and cancellation terms directly with the hotel before committing.
What should we send everyone before traveling?
Send the game ticket link, chosen parking location, the official bag guidance, the unresolved parade timing and the 6 p.m. campus cutoff. Give one person responsibility for checking organizer updates the day before departure.
Return with the details handled
Homecoming is a chance to reconnect with the people who made campus feel like home. A little coordination protects that time: fewer searches for missing cars, fewer people stuck at a gate, more room for the reunion.
If your homecoming outfit includes fraternity or sorority jewelry, use our Divine Nine licensing checklist before shopping. Organization-specific authorization matters; this guide makes no claim that FratRings is Morgan State's official homecoming merchandise provider.
