Every design is different, but this is the typical path a made-to-order fratrings piece follows.
02Shape & proportion
3D modeling & mold preparation
The design is translated into a dimensional model so proportions, lettering, stone placement, and surface depth can be prepared for production.
03The foundation
Casting the metal core
The ring body is formed from the material specified on the product page. Most plated designs use a copper core; sterling silver options use .925 silver.
04Color & surface
Plating or silver finishing
Depending on your selection, the piece receives its gold-tone, white-tone, black finish, or sterling silver treatment. Exact finish stacks vary by design.
05Precision details
Stones, enamel & details
Stones and colored details sharpen the organization’s identity. Many designs use AAA cubic zirconia; the product page lists the exact construction.
06Final inspection
Polishing & quality control
Edges, surfaces, stones, lettering, and finish are reviewed. The piece is polished and checked before it moves forward.
07Made personal
Personalization & engraving
Names, line information, chapters, years, or other approved details are added when the product offers personalization. This typically adds 5–7 production days.
08Ready to arrive
Packaging & shipping
After final inspection, the piece is protected for shipment. Carrier transit starts after production and is separate from the 20–25 day manufacturing window.
