The Decatur Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is presenting the event as an alumni stroll-off and a celebration of fellowship, tradition, pride, service and community. The organizer says the afternoon will include the competition, food, vendors and entertainment.

Transportation and getting there

Silverbacks Park sits near the I-85/I-285 interchange in northeast Atlanta. For drivers, traffic around that interchange can add time even when the final distance looks short.

MARTA introduced a redesigned bus network in 2026, so older online directions may no longer match current service. Use the official MARTA trip planner on the day you travel and plan the last mile carefully; the venue is not directly attached to a rail station. Rideshare can simplify the last leg, but the organizer has not posted a designated pickup zone.
