Florida Alphas have a confirmed place and date for the 66th Florida District Conference: October 15–18, 2026, at Rosen Centre in Orlando. The public event page also names the conference theme—but several details that affect travel decisions are not posted yet. This independent guide separates what is official from what still needs verification.
What FFAC has officially confirmed
The Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters event page identifies the gathering as the 66th Florida District Conference and places it at Rosen Centre from Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18, 2026. FFAC says the program will focus on brotherhood, health and leadership under its “Stronger Together” theme.
The location is especially practical for a district meeting. Rosen Centre sits on International Drive, near major roads and within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center. The hotel publishes its street address as 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.
Use the dated 2026 event page—not the older homepage copy
FFAC’s homepage still contains a featured-conference paragraph describing the 65th conference in Jacksonville in 2025. Lower on that same site, the current calendar correctly lists the 66th conference in Orlando in 2026. For this guide, the dated 2026 event page and current calendar are the controlling sources.
Registration and schedule: what is still missing
As of September 23, the public 2026 event page does not provide a registration button, ticket price, eligibility language, late-registration deadline, cancellation policy or attendee portal. It also does not publish a complete daily agenda.
A separate “District Huddle” listing appears on the site for October 15 from 8:30 to 10 p.m. That time belongs to the separately labeled huddle listing; it should not be treated as the start time for the entire conference unless FFAC publishes an agenda connecting the two.
Before paying through a forwarded link or booking around an assumed session time, confirm the link originated on FFAC’s official website or through an official FFAC communication. General inquiries can be directed to Info@ffac1906.org.
Where to stay
Rosen Centre is the confirmed conference venue, but the public FFAC page does not yet advertise an event room block, group code, negotiated nightly rate or booking deadline. That distinction matters: reserving a standard room through the hotel is not the same as entering an official conference block.
If you want to stay on site, monitor FFAC for a group-booking link before committing to a nonrefundable rate. Rosen Centre currently advertises free Wi-Fi in guestrooms and no resort fee, but room terms and inventory depend on the specific reservation. The hotel lists reservations at 800-204-7234.
Brothers considering another hotel should prioritize International Drive, the Orange County Convention Center area and a realistic late-evening transportation plan. A lower room rate can disappear quickly once parking and repeated rides are added.
Transportation and parking
Rosen Centre describes its location as a short ride from Orlando International Airport and convenient to major highways. No conference-provided airport shuttle appears on the FFAC event page, so travelers should plan their own rental car, taxi or rideshare unless the organizer announces transportation later.
The hotel’s current press information lists self-parking at $40 and valet at $53, plus tax; oversized self-parking is listed at $60 per occupied space. These are hotel-published rates, not an FFAC promise, and they can change. Ask whether the conference will provide validation, a reduced event rate or different instructions before arrival.
Accessibility
Rosen Centre’s official accessibility page lists accessible public entrances, routes to registration and guest-services desks, accessible meeting rooms and ballrooms, accessible self-parking and valet areas, elevators and ADA-compliant guest rooms. The hotel also says assistive listening devices and interpreters can be requested for meetings for an additional fee.
If you need an accessible guest room, mobility feature, hearing device, service-animal accommodation or meeting support, contact the hotel and FFAC early. Hotel accessibility questions can be directed to 800-204-7234 or reservations@rosencentre.com. Conference-program accommodations should also be confirmed with the organizer rather than assumed from the hotel’s general amenities.
Entry rules, attire and what to bring
FFAC has not publicly posted a conference bag policy, badge-pickup process, guest policy, security screening procedure or dress code on the event page. Rosen Centre’s general hotel policies do not substitute for event-specific instructions.
A practical working list is still possible: bring government-issued identification, your registration confirmation once issued, chapter and district contact information, a portable charger, professional attire options and any documentation requested by FFAC. Wait for the official agenda before deciding that one outfit or one arrival time will cover the entire weekend.
Four moves to make now
- Save the official event page. Recheck it for registration and agenda updates rather than relying on screenshots or an older conference page.
- Hold travel intelligently. If you book before the room block appears, prefer flexible terms.
- Plan chapter logistics. Identify likely travelers, room-sharing needs and transportation before registration opens.
- Set a personal deadline. Revisit FFAC’s website weekly until registration, the agenda and hotel instructions are public.
